Science Databases for kids @ WFL

The school year may be almost over, but many are still working on the final projects of the year!  For all of your science research needs, the Wellesley Free Library has many great science databases for kids of all ages, accessible for free through our website!  Rather than google-ing, search these databases for a reputable source!






ScienceFlix 

ScienceFlix provides students with over 4,000 videos, articles, interactive media and more on the earth, space, life and physical sciences, health and the human body and technology and engineering. Teachers can support learning with projects and experiments, quizzes and discussion starters, weblinks and interactive timelines. 


PebbleGo
Two look-it-up databases about animals and earth and space for children in grades 1-3. Learn about your favorite animal and watch a video of it.  Play games like Habitat Hunt and Predator and Prey.  Explore the earth and weather.
