New early literacy resource: Talk Read Sing!

Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing! is a project of Too Small to Fail.  Check out their website for amazing resources on child development from age 0 to 5.  You can even sign up for free texts that deliver tips, parenting videos and other resources every other week on the importance of talking, reading and singing to young children.

Check out this great new video from the Gail Borden Public Library District in Illinois.  It outlines five simple ways you help your baby, toddler, or preschooler build early literacy skills: skills that will help them learn how to read once they reach Kindergarten.
